In her role as Director of Art + Communications at ISET-International, Michelle Fox was the lead author, designer, illustrator, and photographer of this 2015 publication.
Beyond Resilience presents a foundational at-a-glance introduction to the concept of resilience—how resilience manifests in cities around the world and what some of the limits of resilience are.
The Solution
In Beyond Resilience, Michelle Fox and her co-authors – Marcus Moench, founder of ISET-International and Rachel Norton, graduate researcher – posit that an understanding of resilience will empower society with the tools necessary to catalyze meaningful change in our world. However, it is up to society as a whole to decide what values and ethics we want to protect and manifest in our future.
